How IOSpot Uno works
IOSpot Uno is a radio-based assistance system for securing danger zones in intralogistics. It acts as an intelligent link between vehicles and stationary infrastructure such as gates, barriers, or entire halls, as well as clearly defined local danger zones.
Through the Spot-Function for reliable detection of local security areas and the Gate-Function that allows the entire hall to be secured IOSpot Uno Automated and secure processes – entirely without additional driver intervention.
Flexible safety zones: circular areas about the Spot-Function or safeguarding of larger hall sections via the GateFunction
Clear visual signals: A clearly visible status indicator located directly on the vehicle module or, optionally, as an external display within the driver’s field of vision
Custom distance control: Maximum adaptability, with up to 16 individually adjustable distances in spot mode, makes the system extremely flexible
Automated process control: The control of gates, traffic lights, or acoustic warning systems is automated. This saves repair costs and creates tangible safety.
TwinDetect function: Speed is reduced only if at least two vehicles are in the safety zone at the same time
Access and authorisation control: Expandable with a security module, e.g. for opening gates exclusively for authorized drivers (e.g., for customs areas) or opening gates only for authorized vehicles (e.g., secures low gate systems against entry by vehicles that are too tall).
Dynamic FastPass feature: Efficiency gain through faster cancellation of speed reduction after leaving the risk area
Scalable system integration: Integration of external sensors and actuators to implement custom logic functions for specific requirements.

The system then evaluates the respective situation in real-time by analyzing distances and defined safety zones. Based on this, suitable measures are automatically triggered - such as warning signals, speed adjustments, or the control of gates and barriers. This creates a continuous, automated protection mechanism that ensures maximum safety in internal traffic at all times.
